Sierra’s new 175 gr Tipped GameKing is designed to be tough and used for heavy duty hunting work. It will hit like a hammer on big game from the great 270 Winchester as well as be right at home in any magnum cartridge. It will use a 1-8 or faster twist rate to stabilize because of its long length but the BC’s are also extremely high because of that. The higher BC’s make it very efficient in flight so it will give a high impact velocity at distance. To accomplish that we added length to the boattail and engineered a forgiving tangent ogive with a closed nose. The 185 grain #8800 Jacketed Hollow Point (JHP) SportsMaster bullets were designed primarily for the 45 Caliber Automatic Colt Pistol (45 ACP) cartridge.
