YHM’s .R45 suppressor is our most versatile suppressor system to date. It was created to provide the shooting enthusiast a quiet lightweight and cost effective suppressor. The notched rim and tri-port muzzle on the end cap make it stand out among the crowd. Meet The Fat Cat®-The newest member of the YHM suppressor family! This 5.56 NATO suppressor sports new baffle geometry resulting in reduced blowback. Built with the same care quality and attention to detail that has defined the YHM® brand for generations the Fat Cat® was created to provide a compact suppressor with great sound. The Fat Cat® is made from 17-4 stainless steel along with a heat-treated 718 Inconel blast baffle. The combination of these materials allows the suppressor to be full auto-rated and designed for rigorous use. The overall length measures just 4.5 with the sRx adapter installed. That’s a full inch shorter than our Turbo K model with it’s included adapter. The Fat Cat’s larger 1.94 diameter creates more internal volume resulting in a lower more pleasant tone. With an average sound pressure level of 141dB at the muzzle the Fat Cat® is quite the performer for its size. Also available is the optional cat end cap YHM-2210 with the Cat’s Ass design on the cap. The new Sidwewinder M2 suppressor is optimized to give you an affordable lightweight suppressor packed with features typically found on more expensive models. The booster system has been completely redesigned and now uses the industry’s unofficial standard piston. Pistons from SilencerCo Rugged Dead Air etc. can be used in the Sidewinder M2 and vice versa. The redesign also includes the ability to swap pistons without the use of tools thanks to a new rear cap. The front cap has been redesigned to allow for better engagement with the takedown tool to make the service process easier. - The Sidewinder utilizes a high-efficiency mono-core baffle made from 7075-T6 aluminum that is class 3 hardcoat anodized. The outer tube is made from 6061-T6 aircraft quality aluminum which is also finished with class 3 hardcoat anodize. These materials offer high strength and longevity in a lightweight package. The Piston Nielsen Sleeve and Blast Baffle are constructed from heat treated 17-4ph stainless steel. This type of stainless steel is extremely resistant to corrosion and wear and will not degrade when exposed to extreme temperatures. - The Sidewinder M2 is user serviceable which allows both the baffle and Nielsen device to be removed for cleaning and maintenance using the provided disassembly tool. Our Nielsen device enables flawless semi-automatic operation on all relevant host pistols. The Turbo T3 has continued that mission and it’s MSRP includes a Q.D. Muzzle Brake -or- Q.D. Flash Hider a Phantom Q.D. Adapter and 2 suppressor wrenches. This flash hider is used for our Q.D. Phantom Sound Suppressor. It retains the excellent flash hiding capabilities of the original Phantom.
